Dream feed or not?

My lo is 8 weeks and we have started putting him down for bed at 7-8 this week.He has a feed then and we sometimes feed before we go to bed. We find he doesn't take much at these dream feeds. He is also very asleep and it seems a shame to wake him.Sometimes he grunts for food at 10-11 sometimes he goes till one or two.i dream fed with first one but dunno if it made much difference. How long do your lo's go without a feed and do you dream feed or not? Thanks x

Mine is 5 months now. I tried a dream feed during the 4month regression but he still woke at 2/3/4 for another feed. I tried for three nights but didn't make a difference. Ditched the dream feed and he now goes through until 1/2/3am from about 6.45. I just feed him then (as annoying as that is for me) and he goes back down until 5.30/6ish normally. I'm just hoping this feed will get later as he weans, until we can just offer water if he wakes and drop then it completely.

I do know many people who the dream feed works for and it's probably easier to drop a dream feed but it doesn't work for everyone.
