11 month old naps

Hi everyone

Hope someone can help!

Our LO is 11 months old and had gone through a stage of only napping in her rocker chair in the day! She starts nursery in a couple of month so want to get her napping in her cot plus she’s now outgrowing her chair!

She used to nap twice a day in her cot, when she’s tired now I will put her down for her nap but she gets so upset and keeps rolling over I end up rocking her to sleep and carefulling playing her back in the cot not to wake her! But she will then only sleep for about 30 mins where before she would sleep for a hour and a half.

Any tips on helping her nap without having to rock her please?

Has she ever learned how to self-soothe?

When she was younger she did but when teething started the last time that kind of all stopped :(

I would try and limit the amount of rocking, and try to allow her to go to sleep by herself. There will probably be some fussy and light crying but it's best for babies in the long run to fall asleep by themselves.
