Little one sleep program

Hi I'm just looking for abit of advice. Like many other parents my baby who is 5 month old has gone from sleeping all the way through the night to waking up hourly and being very unsettled. I've heard good things about the little ones sleep program but I wanted to hear if any of you have been through what I am and used the program successfully. With it being 30 pounds I didn't want to just waste money on it as I can't imagine what else we could do with her as we have a routine etc. So your advice about the sleep program would be much appreciated. Thanks x

I had a very similar question a week or so ago. I foolishly paid for the programmes, even though my rational head was telling me it wouldn’t be a magic bullet. And it wouldn’t tell me anything I didn’t already know.

I can tell you the edited highlights of the program, which is basically a standard strict routine. Based on always putting baby down for a nap when they’re not under or over tired. And always having a long lunchtime nap.

So e.g. for a 8 week old it says no more than 2 hours awake time between naps. And naps should be 9-10am, 12-2 and 4-5. Then bedtime at 7.

So it’s hardly anything revolutionary! I honestly don’t think there’s much else to it. Although if you pay for the program you get access to a members forum where you can post for advice. But probably not any better than what you’ll get here!

I paid for this (in the middle of the night!) then asked for a refund when I got the material - it's basically Gina Ford ripped off. And I will never have time to go on the forums. They refunded me easily

Ok thanks for replying. I think I'll leave it then. You are both right we expect it to come with some advice that can change our life instantly and out of desperation we buy it knowing it's a risk. I think I'm doing all the right things regarding her sleep but at the end of the day it's going to be tough and tiring. Thanks again x
