Jet Lag or typical 5 month old nightmare

Hi we arrived back from NZ two days ago and since then our 5 month old (next week) dd has been up from about 2am wanting to play.
We had a sleeping through baby at 6 wks, then she began waking up 3 times a night at 3months, lasted 3 weeks before starting weaning and then had a couple of weeks of good sleep before this has started.
Any advice will be greatly received. She is still only having a couple of hours sleep during the day and literally passes out at 7pm so am unable to keep her up later.

Sounds like jet lag, my parents always wake up at 2am wanting to play when they get back from NZ too. It will get better, just make sure she gets lots of sunlight during the day (not directly on her obviously) to get her back on track.

It sounds like jet lag. I've heard that a good rule of thumb is the number of days it will take to get onto the right time is equal to the time difference. For us, it's always worse coming east (from the US to Europe) and takes us over a week to get back to normal. But then, I don't really do anything to make it shorter.

Hope she gets sorted out soon.
