White noise

Hi all,
I just wanted a little advice.
When we are at home, the little man finds it difficult to nap in the day at times. I know he's tired as it's been a few hours since he's had sleep and he's yawning and rubbing his eyes. He's 12 weeks. I have just started popping white noise on in the distance for him until he is drifting off and then I turn it off. Does anyone else do this? Will it be a pain in the long run? Many thanks :)

I bought a mains powered one for my DD1. She still uses it at 3 years old. Not a pain and I think I got one for DD2 for about £20.

I’ve just bought my 4 month old ‘Ollie the Owl’ which is a white noise teddy with a cry sensor. He’s only had it a week but the one night we didn’t use it made a difference! He woke up a few times & didn’t self settle. I would definitely recommend one!
