Hi, my baby used to only wake twice a night for feeds (ebf) once my baby turned 4 months old he started to wake every single hour. He’s now 6 months old and still does this, he goes to sleep at 8 and then wake every hour sometimes more frequently, until about 7. I don’t know what to do? I’ve established a bedtime routine, he’s warm enough, he’s not hungry and he’s in his own room! Any ideas as what could help?

Do you feed him to sleep? Mine did this, and it was because he fed to sleep then couldn't stay asleep by himself. Your choices are co-sleep with him feeding off and on all night or try and teach him to sleep by himself by putting him down awake. Good luck!

During the day he doesn’t but alll through the night he will most likely feed to sleep. He won’t co sleep with me so I have to sleep put him in the cot! Looks like I’ll have to try and teach him to soothe himself, any tips? He just seems to scream hysterically until I rock/pat him

Feed til drowsy then wake him up and then put him down. Get him something to cuddle/suck - blanket/teddy/dummy. Send in your OH/mum/friend to comfort so your boobs are out of range!
