Feeling very sorry for myself

As the title says! Am awake with DS (11 months) and have been all night. He's a crap sleeper at the best of times but this is pretty awful even for him.

Am incredibly frustrated, angry and feel like I'm about to break and very alone. I don't know anyone whose baby sleeps as less as mine does. DD 3 has form for not sleeping too. I genuinely feel like this is going to kill me!!

I'm sorry I can't be of any actual use to you, but just waving hello as I'm up with 8m old DS who's also having an absolutely rubbish night. Hope you manage to get some sleep at some point and that Sunday is kind to you!

I'm here too with 8 month old also. It's so so hard. I feel like it feels worse when they are older as it feels like everyone else's babies have got sleep sorted by now. Sorry I can't offer any advice as I'm in an absolute mess with sleep here, but you are not alone.

Hello from me too... DD 4mos is sleeping but stupidly I am not.

Put brandy in his bottle Wink

Thursday DD decided naps were over, but slept from usual time. Yesterday she napped (about 30 mins each time) like a trooper but was totally wired come bedtime.

They are soda.

Hey! Not alone, Up with my newborn - everyv2chiurs! Also got a 20 month old how has decided 5am is wake up time and a 4 year old who will also get up that early then not nap!

It is so so hard without sleep....you can see why they use it as a form of torture! do you have a partner who can take a shift? Is LO teething?
Sending lots of hugs! X

Aries456 · 14/10/2018 02:40

Ha, every 2 hours even!

gothefcktosleep · 14/10/2018 02:42

*they are sods

Not soda. Soda would sleep.

Aries456 · 14/10/2018 02:47

Ha ha ha! I wondered if I was missing Something there! All this bleary eyed typing!!

Stormblessed · 14/10/2018 03:29

Exhausted hello from me. DS (5 months) was fast asleep in my arms at 2am, then I dared put him back down in his crib. Right now he's engaged in fierce battle with the bloody useless dream sheep. His sleep has been getting gradually more awful over the past few weeks and I'm feeling very sorry for myself Sad

I’m up with a two week old, she actually slept for nearly 4 hours and I woke up in a blind panic and had to check she was breathing. We’re up half an hour later. she’s had a big bottle and fell asleep in my arms, now wide awake that I’ve put her down.

KeysHairbandNotepad · 14/10/2018 06:00

My son is 11 months too. I'm on my 3rd wake up tonight. He was unwell through September and is relearning how to link sleep cycles. I can't help you op but you are not alone.

Mumof1DS · 14/10/2018 06:51

You are not alone. DS has been awake since 1ish, refusing to go back in the cot. He's nearly 8 months. He'd fall asleep in my arms then a few minutes later would wake up angry that he'd been put back in the cot while mummy got back into bed Hmm
We gave up and came downstairs at 5. He's now having a milk feed so hopefully it will send him off for a nap before he grumps all the way through church Blush

Ha! @Aries it took me seeing your correction to go back and re-read my input Grin
