4 month sleep regression

How do you cope with this? He started about 6 weeks ago and wakes at least once an hour all night usually wants a bottle once. Most of the time I just need to pick him up and he goes back to sleep but then 20 minutes later he's crying again. It started when he was about 3.5 months and he will be 5 months next week.

He went to sleep in his next to me bed at 7 tonight and has been awake 4 times already. I just wish I could skip the nights it's making me cry thinking about going through another night like this.

This isn't very helpful, but I think you just have to wait it out and keep reminding yourself that this too shall pass. Try and nap in the day where you can.

For what it's worth, my baby hit the 4 month regression HARD - I was a mess, but she suddenly (almost literally overnight) started sleeping 7-7 like some kind of angel baby when she hit six months (after about eight weeks of awful, awful sleeping). Putting her in her own room helped too, so I wasn't unintentionally disturbing her.

So much sympathy - it's tough, I found the 4-6 months period way harder than the newborn stage.

I feel your pain. My little one was exactly like this and I spent many nights rocking him to sleep crying as I was so exhausted. The only thing that stoped t for me was weaning him early
