18 month Old bad dreams?

My DS has been crying out in his sleep lately randomly during the night, he's not for any teeth coming through as far as we know he's just got the 4 second molars left to come at around 2.
He will say things like that he's learnt during the day like 'apple' or 'tractor' but other times he will cry out and wimper and then as he turns over will say 'mumma' like he's having a bad dream or somethings upset him. Can they have bad dreams at this age?

Sorry I can't help with an answer but I have a 15 month old who wakes during the night and suddenly screams and then if I pick him up he fights with me. I was also wondering if they can have bad dreams/night terrors this early.

My 17 month old is the same. He cries in his sleep and occasionally wakes up crying. No teeth left to come at the moment so I've been wo drring about dreams too. I've always suffered from night terrors and still have them as an adult so petrified he's going to have them.

My 18 month old is the same - I am wondering if there's any relation to tv /screen time?
