Something to break the habit?!

Me again. My daughter is 14 months and will only sleep in her own bed from 8 til 10-11 then she will wake for a cuddle and will not ket me put her back down again. She ends up in our bed. The main problem with this is that she doesn't sleep next to me she sleeps on me and across me and is so restless she kicks my partner hard, sometimes he has bruises on his ribs from her continously kicking him through the night.
Now last night I decided to get anywhere I'd first need to shake the habit of her sleeping on me and start sleeping next to me. Nothing was working until daddy said "I'll sleep downstairs so you guys can get sone more sleep" and just like that, the minute he got out of bed, she settled in the bed next to me no restlessness until about half an hour before she woke up this morning where she was half asleep half awake not sure what she wanting.
My question is, is there any kind of calming drops or anything i can use/do to help her sleeo tgrough the night without needing me too much just to break the habit of needing to lay on me through the night. Thanks in advance

It sounds like she just needed more space Grin I would get her a floor bed in her room instead of a cot, babyproof the room. When she wakes at 10/11 cuddle her back to sleep, you can then either stay with her or go back to your bed until she wakes again, and repeat. My baby has never liked her cot and has always been in my bed - she sleeps mich better when it’s just me and daddy is on the sofa.
