Co sleeping with a toddler and a baby

My son is 2.4 and has always slept next to me. He's always been big so nowadays I don't do anything special co sleeping wise apart from the safety guidelines obviously e.g. no drinking so it's been a while since I had to think about this.

My question is is it safe to add my 6 month old to the bed? She is still quite small (15lb) and I'm not sure this would be wise. What does everybody think? TIA x

There's an old thread about this which might be useful: http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/amiibeingunreasonable/1200873-to-consider-co-sleeping-with-newborn-AND-toddler
