My LO is 17 months old and is leaking every night/when he wakes up in the morning (6am) I’ve tried several types of brands and he still seems to leak I’ve tried nappy boosters but unfortunately he still leaked😣. It always seems to be up his front and it keeping him up it leaks from his waist too under his chest. He goes to sleep at 8-8:30 so I don’t give him anything to drink from 7pm onwards. I’ve also tried size up in nappies. He drinks 5oz of milk in the night and always has a fresh nappy before sleeping. Any tips to prevent leakages? Help!

I would stop the milk in the night.

I'd suggest buying some cheap bamboo inserts online as they're meant for reusable nappies but you can line a disposable one too. That will absorb more wee and you can wash it and reuse.

Or quickly change his nappy a couple of hours after he's down for the night so he'll stay asleep/resettle easily then it's more likely to last til morning

We had this issue (leaking out the back) and I found a trick.

You know the back of a nappy at the top, there's about 4 inches of papery stuff with none of the absorbent stuff? Stick a maternity pad to it before you put the nappy on. Nappy is a little tight so does up a little looser at the front. No more leaks for us.

I meant to say - could you stick a maternity pad across the front? Horizontally. And yes to bigger nappies.
