Has anyone tried chamomile tea for babies?

Our DD has not slept well since birth. We have tested for everything: we've tried treating reflux and I've cut cow's milk protein and soya out of my diet. She feeds well, has plenty of dirty nappies so the GP isn't too concerned, but no one is sleeping well as a result and I'm worried about the consequences of sleep deprivation now.

A mum in my NCT group said she used chamomile tea when her baby wouldn't settle and it apparently worked for her. I've always been told you don't give babies anything but milk or formula, but chamomile tea seems relatively harmless, and midwives advise using infacol and colief and all those medications, surely chamomile tea is just as inoffensive? Has anyone tried it?

it is recommended that the tea be introduced to the diet slowly. Giving 1-2 ounces, with the bag steeped for 5 minutes, as recommended by Parents Magazine, should not cause any issues for baby

That's great, thanks. Ever heard of Sleepy Sloth, a condensed chamomile infusion for babies? I just saw it on ebay and wonder if it's any good?
