Angel care motion sensor issues

I have a 7 week old baby who has now moved from a Moses basket to a cot (still in our room). We have an angel care monitor with sound and a motion sensor so if no movement is detected for 5 secs it has a 'Warning shot' and after 20secs an alarm sounds to indicate baby may have stopped brestitng. In the Moses basket it worked great but motion is detected using a square mat and I'm wondering if this doesn't fit as well in the cot. Every night it's beeping warnings at least 5 times and full alarms twice. I get up to check on LO who is fine. Sometimes she's in a deep sleep but breathing regularly when I place my hand on her chest. She's had a 6 week check and we saw a doctor at the weekend (she had a lot of very explosive nappies) and her heart and breathing have always been fine. Has anyone had this and managed to sort the issue? I get a lot of reassurance from the sensor as she was a special care baby but I don't need to add to us getting woken up unnecessarily
