I have 3 children and Recently just found out I'm expecting again! Not planned as my
Last baby isn't even 1 yet.
My eldest child is 5 and sleeps all night once you get her to sleep but 9/10 a few stories and she's fine.
My middle child is 3 and is a bugger, getting her to sleep is a mission and when she's asleep she will wake up 3/4 times every night and come into our bed. We've returned her over and over again but it's not sticking.
My youngest is 10 months and is a really bad sleeper. She has never taken a dummy or a bottle and I have breastfed all this time and still do at night.
I am terrified at be prospect of having 3 out of 4 kids being shitty sleepers! My youngest has gone into a big cot in her own room but she is so hard to get to sleep, even when feeding her she will fall asleep but then comfort suck and if I try to release the latch it wakes her and she goes mad.
Or sometimes she's on the boob for nearly and hour snoozing so she wakes up full of beans like she's had a refreshing nap and refuses point blank to go to sleep.
The health visitor said to stop the feed when she starts to comfort suck and lay her down awake but how long is that going to take before she gets the message! I am exhausted already at the moment and it's making me doubt if I can really do this again .
