Night terrors

Any one else's suffering with night terrors. We have always had them from her being 5 months old (yes I know she's too young but it's been confirmed by multiple people, as much as I didn't want to hear this). I have been told it is night terrors. (At least 2 a night lasting 1 hr each) but no one has any tips and they refuse to give medication in the UK. when we try to comfort her it becomes worse and my heart breaks every night knowing she's terrified. Please help x

Don`t touch her that does make it worse. If you can stay close by for her safety and let it pass. It is awful.

White noise machines running during the night can help.

Placemarking as I'm interested. I still have them occasionally, and I'm an adult. My dad is the same. Sorry to hear this OP.

Is there anything in her room that may cast a shadow or look scary to her? If they occur around the same time every night I know some parents wake up their child say 20 minutes before, then hold/soothe them back to sleep. I don't know if this helps tho.
