Hunger or comfort

I have a 5-month old baby who, until 4 months, was sleeping 7pm-4am, having a feed for 30 mins and then going back to sleep until 7am, which was great. The 4-month sleep regression hit and she was up multiple times a night, struggling to go back to sleep. We then had a week of her sleeping 7:30-6:30 and now she seems to have regressed again. She usually wakes 4 times a night, not crying, but shouting. I try to soothe her back to sleep but the only thing that works is giving her a bottle. She feeds for perhaps 2 mins and takes about an ounce of formula each time and is then asleep. I transfer her to her cot and she sometimes remains a sleep, but other times she will shout and fuss again. This happens 3-4 times a night and often only an hour apart. For example, last night it was at 10:30, 11:30, 2:30 and 4:45. In your opinion, does this sound like a baby who is hungry or who needs the bottle to soothe her back to sleep? If the latter, any ideas of how I can fix it? I feel like I’ve brought this on myself as I have always fed her to sleep at bedtime....
