Co-sleeping in winter, how?

We co-sleep following all the safety rules, DD is 9 months. But now that it is getting colder I'm finding the no duvets/quilts rule very difficult! Would love to hear how others deal with this?

Baby had their own grow bag and I slept with a zip up goody (breastfeeding) and blankets over my legs only.

Hoody! Not goody.

Did this work throughout winter? What temperature is your room? Something like this was my plan but tonight I'm wearing two jumpers and still there is no way I could be without a duvet, blanket just isn't cutting it anymore! Sad

Sleeping bag for Dd. I had a quilt on but stopped at my waist and wore a dressing gown open at the chest.

Also as we where in the bed alone I put her face to face with me rather than boob to face while she was sleeping so if the quilt sneaked up it wouldn't cover her

DD sleeps in grobags and I sleep in a camping sleeping bag wearing a cardigan

Dis slept in a grow bag and I slept on a fuzzy zip up onesie

Thanks all. DD in grobags too. If quilt up to the waist is fine that would already help loads. Maybe I need to invest in some better cardigans!

At 9 months I was entirely comfortable with a duvet over both of us. I use thing duvets anyway as I hate weighted ones so nice layered pjs for us a both and a thin duvet.

I'll try to explain. I wear a sports bra to sleep in, I kind of thread the corner of the duvet up between my boob's inside the sleeping bra. That keeps the duvet in place and away from dc2 and I keep warm. My arms are out of the duvet but not a big deal. Dc2 is in a little sleeping bag.

That's genius Gummy! Thanks both, it helps to read about what others do.
