I had resigned myself to breast feeding lo (7mo) to sleep as it worked for both of us nicely. However it doesn't work anymore, maybe because she eats so much normal food now? She has a bit then rolls over and up to crawl about whilst grinning toothlessly at me. So have been rocking her when she shows tired signs and that works, however at 2 in the morning she also seems wide awake and a quick bf used to send her straight back, now she's up for an hour (or more) fart arsing around.
Anyone else had this problem? Or any cunning plans? I am not a happy lady at that time!!

hi there,
my boy gave up bfing to sleep too, and it was actually a blessing in disguise, cos i then hadnt got a quick solution. and he was a terrible sleeper, waking every 2 hrs. instead, i started doing pick up, put down (babywhisperer method) and making him go into cot awake...it really worked and now he is sleeping through, at 8 months.
we still use breastfeeding as our quiet time before hand, although sometimes he just plays about and then i give up and put him to bed with half a feed in him!
check out tracey hoggs website about how to do pupd if you're interested.
good luck!
