Over dreaming

A few months ago i was dreaming what seemed like non stop all night, really vivd dreams. I was waking up feeling very tired, very groggy and as though i had been on the go all night. I also found it very hard to wake up properly and get up. This all stoppped for a while but has now returned. I have heard it can be caused by a lack of serotonin and i do feel quite down and very anxious at the moment (started saint johns wort). Does anyone else have the same problem or know anything about it?

Hello, yes I'm dreaming like a good 'un at the moment, lots of ghostly things and wake up feeling not too refreshed myself and muzzy headed.
I have been feeling down of late so it's interesting what you say here.

Gosh, I dream vividly allll the time, and always wake up feeling washed out. Had no idea it could be related to serotonin. will watch with interest.....

I too wake up at least 4 or 5 times a night,takes me ages to fall back to sleap and then when i do,i dream of really intense things that dont really make much sense...Has only been doing this for the last month or so but i wish it would stop as i am so knackard ALL the time...
