Anybody used a sleep consultant?

I’m growing increasingly desperate now and I’m willing to fork out for anything if it will help. My 7.5 month old won’t sleep past 1, 1:30 on a good night, then (if she even lets me put her back in her cot) she stirrs continuously until 4 when she’s recently started demanding a feed (she stopped wanting night feeds at about 3 months so not sure where this new habit has come from!) and then stirrs and won’t settle for the rest of the night, by the time DH gets up at 6 (which is when DD wakes up too) I have been up since 1:30...I’m now going back to work sooner than I’d originally planned and I NEED longer than 2 hours of sleep. Part of the problem is that when I go to bed at 8:30/9pm I lie awake until god knows when in anticipation of DD waking up.
Has anyone tried a sleep consultant? If so, how does it work and are they effective???

Have you tried feeding her at 1am when she initially wakes? What she is doing is totally normal for a 7.5 month old. You could try cosleeping to get through?

@crazycatlady Yeah I’ve tried that, she’s not interested at that time, she doesn’t wake up crying or anything. Just unsettled. Then she starts crying at 4ish which is when I feed her. I don’t know anybody with a 7 month old who is up from 1am (ish) :( Unless they’re lying about having good sleep ta haha! Absolutely drained. Hoping it’s just a phase. Oh and I’m not keen on co-sleeping but out of desperation I’ve found myself doing it from 4 onwards!

What happens if you try to feed her at 1?
Has she started weaning? X
