So Basically as above. I dunno if it set to stay but the last 2 evenings my lo has screamed then stopped then screamed etc going out in the buggy was all ok and the car settled him and he took some food. Lo was at it till 10.My older child used to have witching hour and was hoping this one wouldn't lol. Do u think it could be the teats. He has size 1 teats on mam bottles and sometimes sounds like he gurgling and choking. Should I change the teat size? Any other ideas to snap him out of cryey evenings. He generally burps ok and has about 3 oz 2-3 hrs in the day and thrn a couple of small feeds at night. He grunts like a trooper at night after his feed even though i sit him up for half an hour after. Any tips would be gratefully received. Thankyou x

My daughter is like this now and has been from 10 weeks. She's now 12 weeks. My son was also like it. She normally refuses milk whinges wriggles cries. Then poos and she's asleep. So frustrating. Only thing that helps the screaming is the "tiger hold".

Hopefully it ends soon for both of us! 💐

It's a way of holding the baby over your arm in their tummy and then you swing them. Let me look for an image! One sec.

2 weeks is so little. It gets easier. Have you seen the health visitor? How is the baby eating? I'm just thinking about different things to rule out. Reflux, allergy, milk intolerance, have you tried dummies? All these things run through my head so ruling things out helps to keep you calm. Sometimes all you can do is comfort baby until they calm down.

He may have 'evening colic'
It is no fun. The tiger hold is a Godsend! Our DDs used to instantly sleep once in this position, having their backs lightly tapped.
