Feeling despair

I’ve posted previously about my 10 month old’s sudden crap sleep but after a couple of weeks of it I feel at the end of my tether. My question is if this is a sleep regression how long will it last? He has previously been good and slept through from 3-7 months...

I’m just so baffled- I’ve tried lengthening and shortening naps and awake times. I’ve tried a bigger dinner to fill him up. I’ve tired leaving him to settle but he stands up screaming and won’t get back down. He’s waking 4-6 times a night. He could be teething, and he has just developed a cold as well.

Anyone who has been through this, how long should I wait it out before doing something more drastic? At the moment I am feeding him as it seems the quickest way to get him back to sleep but by the morning I am on my knees.. and my 3 yo is up at 6.

Apologies for ramble I am barely with it today!

It is a sleep regression - you’re not doing anything wrong and nothing you do is going to have a magic affect. It might help a little sometimes but other times you’ll find you have wasted a lot of extra time. Cosleep to get through the worst of it. For us it got massively better by 12 months.
