15 month old DS has always been a really good sleeper, napped well and self settled brilliant, bar the usual regressions and teething.
But now I'm having what I feel like a major problems, as since he's been a good sleeper this all new to me and I feel as though I'm losing the plot and over analysing every wake up, nap time, etc.
Anyway for the last 5 week's he's been a nightmare to settle in the evenings. 5 weeks ago we holidayed in the UK and due to travel cot issues we needed up co-sleeping which was lovely, but now he won't go to sleep unless I'm lying next to him on the floor.
His bed times are getting later and later and it's getting harder for me to settle him. He goes down for his naps perfectly. His day currently looks like this:
Wake: any time between 7 and 9am.
Nap: usually 11-2pm
Bed: usually start routine about 7:30, but fall asleep time is anywhere between 7:30 and 10pm. One night it was midnight.
I'll put him down, say night and leave, which goes well, then 10 minutes later he will be standing up crying. I won't and can't leave him to cry so I end up lying next to him on a crappy fold up matteress thing which is now starting to affect my hips. I'm self employed and work from home in the evenings and it's getting increasingly difficult to start work at 10pm as my motivation is gone and DS won't settle for DH.
Please help me identify where I'm going wrong and how I can rectify it.
