Fir background, this is what bedtime looks like atm. Im single dc1 is just 3, dc2 is 18 months.

We do bath/milk/stories etc in dc1 room , put into cot bed, leave with dc2. Dc1 goes to sleep and wakes in the morning.

Give dc2 bottle, put in cot, sit while he goes to sleep. Usually 5 or 10 minutes. Sometimes longer , esp on days I've been at work and it's home and straight to bed for them. I sit on my bed next to the cot. Have introduced soft toy which he cuddles, and stopped holding hand, patting.

Dc2 wakes and I co sleep and bf back to sleep from then on. No earlier than 11 and can be as late as 4 (not often....)

3 areas that need attention. Dc1 still in cot. Sitting with dc2 when he falls asleep. Feeding dc2 back to sleep. Not sure where to start really! Thinking maybe dc2 bedtime so I can put him in and go. Then dc1 into a bed. Any ideas?
