Hi.
So my lo is 2 weeks which i no is very young.Hes our second so trying not to have expectation etc. My first loved her dummy my 2 week old sometimes takes it but gets angry with it. Should persist? He also likes white noise so we try the shhhhh on the phone and have a Ewan but my friends suggest my hummy. I just need something to calm him when i have my toddler and him and cant spend hours cuddling him to sleep. He likes the sling but sometimes gets angry in that. Also he slept for about 6 hours with a feed in middle in the day and then in the evening for a couple of hours before bed. He then woke up fir 2 hours in the middle of the night. Any tips how to help day night confusion? We have low lights white noise calm in bedroom. Any tips to keep me sane :) thankyou x

My second had a dummy, (first wouldn't entertain it. ) but didn't take it consistently til he wa a few months old. For white noise I put the radio on and detuned it! As you say he is still very young.

We have MyHummy for DS & for him it is magic. And we can take it anywhere which is an added bonus. I love the fact it has a sensor so goes off when he is quiet but comes on to soothe him if he stirs...also means we aren't listening to it all night.

My DD never took to a dummy until she was much older. DS loved a dummy but struggled for the first 3 weeks due to tongue tie. I think it can be really hit & miss tbh
