5 year old and baby sleeping in same room

Due to house renovations it looks like DD1 (5) will need to sleep in with me and DD2 (3 months) DD2 still wakes regularly for feeds, at least twice a night. DD2 sleeps soundly in her own bed and part of me thinks she'll just sleep through the night feeds but part of me thinks it's unfair in case she doesn't as she's got school the next days. Lucky DH is abroad for work. It's only a week but we could postpone. Not sure what's best.

It wouldn't worry me. We've done it on holiday.

My experience with sleeping in the same room as a tiny baby is that I wake as soon as baby starts stirring and they often don't get time to give even a tiny cry. Small children usually sleep soundly and my DC1 was never woken by DC2's night feeds.

If its just for a week, make it an adventure with the 5 year old. If your baby wakes 5 up, then tell her she can crawl into bed with you. She'll love it.

It'll be fine. My 4 year old not only slept through night waking, he also wasn't woken by his 1 year old sister climbing out of her cot and on top of him. Plus it's only a week.
