Hi :)

I’ve got a lovely 1 week and 3 day beautiful boy. In the day hes a delight, he sleeps most of it after having 40min breastfeeding seshion and a quick burp. But as soon as its 12midnight he just wont rest. Get gets really hungry, and I mean hungry! He wants brest at least 3/4 times, and hes on there a good 20/30min each time. We burp him after each feed. He starts to fall asleep in our arms, but as soon as he is put into his moses basket after about 5min he starts squirming and squeaking and wakes up and then crys.

You pick him up and hes so figety, arms going eberywhere, legs kicking, and hes screaming murders! Last night or this morning shall I say, we didnt sleep from 1am to 5am as we just couldnt get him to sleep.

We’ve tried expressing breast milk into bottles so I the dad can feed him while mum is taking a well earned sleep, but I cant give him enough, he will want 2 of the smaller tommee tippe bottles, he gulps it down, you’d think hes never been fed! I really dont know where he puts the milk!

HELP! Any tips?

Thank you :)

Look up paced feeding. Far easier to take it from bottle than breast so they gulp

Also look up 4th trimester -it's very normal for a baby not to want to sleep on their own.
