my dd has slept on her tummy since she was couple of days old, it was the only way she would sleep! she one today an its done her no harm!

elsieanjoanne · 06/06/2007 22:25

Think it was because she was bf so had tummy to tummy contact an when laid on her back she didnt have this feel it was a comfort thing with her!
YES i know not reccomended, but it worked for us! good luck

Sorry, less flippant answer - as I understand it, after the roll themselves, the SIDS advice is to let them find their own position.

I should probably know better by now, but my dd has been a text book child - still sleeping on her back at 3yrs

My ds however, has been a pretty bad sleeper from about 2 months, but now seems quite happy on his front (and has been very grumpy when I have flipped him over)

I have his bedroom door open, and he is very happily sleeping on his tummy. I will keep an eye on him without panicking.. thankyou..
