Hi there my DD is 14 months old and I'm struggling to get her to sleep past 5.15 in the morning no matter what time she's put to sleep. She stopped having bottles of any kind from 7 months old no matter how hard I tried she wouldn't take it anymore, she had a lactose problem from birth and was put on nutramigen until I weaned her.
She was having one sleep a day for around an hour and a half after lunch (so went down around 12). Myself and my partner have always loved bedtime routine and we have an older daughter (2yoa) they have a bath together and then bed at 7. But recently no matter what I do my youngest will not sleep past 5.15 every morning and its beginning to wake and upset my eldest.
Has anyone got any suggestions? I'd love to be able to give her a bed time bottle again but not sure she would take it. I've tried leaving her or putting juice in her cot to comfort her but it just won't help. Any suggestions would be kindly appreciated. Thank you.

It may be a phase - my DS went through something similar aged about 18m. It was absolute hell so you have my sympathies! It did eventually pass, think it lasted about 2 months. It wasn't anything I did, it was just a natural thing when it came to an end. Strangely enough it did help when it came into winter time as it was darker outside for longer and also cosier in his bed v cold room so he stayed snuggled up.

He is now 2.5 and has started doing it again but that's to do with a new sibling arriving...

My 13mo is similar, although he does take a bottle. He was up at 5 this morning. He loves an early night (sometimes 5.30pm) BUT even when we keep him up til 7 he still won’t sleep in. Unless he occasionally wakes in the night and takes a bottle, then he sometimes stretches to 6ish 😴

However I can’t wake his older siblings for school, takes 5 attempts and issuing threats for them to stagger downstairs, and on the weekends if left to it they’ll rise around lunchtime 🙄 - so I guess I’ll never be happy...
