Has anyone used the Purflo maxi nest? I am thinking of getting one for my LO who is 6mo to improve her sleeping at night but I have heard a-lot of mixed reviews. Is it any good? Any other recommendations?

I have a sleepy head for my 3 month old. I think they it’s ok, no great and very over priced. Sorry don’t know about the purflo best specifically.

Damn! My son totally loved his Purflo nest and wouldn't sleep without it. I even emailed them asking them if they had plans to introduce a larger one. He slept in the standard size until 11 months old, I would have purchased the larger one if was around about 8 months ago.

We loved it so no complaints from us. What mixed reviews have you read?

@HelenMummyof2 thank you and yes I agree that they are very overpriced. Did you find your LO sleep improved while using it?

@RiceButt thank you. Mainly that it is not safe or recommended that they sleep in it during the night or that it restricts their airflow

The base of the nest is more like a thick netting with holes in, I don't believe the Sleepy head has this kind of base.

All SIDS advice will advise against any type of sleepy aid/positioner, so you do have to weigh up the pros and cons to using one.

How old is DC? Could you purchase the cheaper smaller nest to see of they like it and invest in the bigger one when older?

@RiceButt she is 7 months old now and is quite long so I think the smaller one would not give the same benefits for very long or if at all

I think I will just have to weigh up as to whether it is really worth getting or not
