Baby cries during sleep...

Stupid question to other mums... my baby doesn’t nap very well during the day, she sleeps pretty good at night though.

Very often when I do get her to sleep in the day she will suddenly cry out unhappily - she sometimes settles herself back down but not always. It can be any time, whether i’m Holding her in my arms and she’s upright, lying down or asleep in her bouncer.

She has reflux, could it be the acid hurting her?

She is fine at night.

It’s really heartbreaking to see and hear, I just wanted to know if anyone else’s baby has done this?

DS does this his whole face crumbles then he cries out then sleeps I think it bothers me more than him x

Mine does this. I think it might be digestive discomfort or that perhaps in the day shes in a lighter sleep? So maybe startles more easily from external stuff or dreaming?
My son did it as a newborn as well I dont think its anything to worry about. I think its very common.

She is really easily startled bless her. I feel so sorry for her that she doesn’t nap peacefully, it seems so unfair.
