When to worry about bad sleep habits?

So my seven year old was the worst nightmare when it came to sleep. I suffered four years of forced co-sleeping, numerous night time wakings and sleep derivation that I wish not to repeat this time 😂

Little lady is two weeks old today and while I'm completely aware that right now she needs what she asks for whether that be cuddles, feeds or sleeping with me (safely of course). However, I'm mindful of not introducing bad sleeping habits as I want to encourage good sleeping (don't we all?)

At what age do I start to encourage things like self-soothing, bed time routine etc

Thank you!xx
