Mine Ds has always slept badly. Just wondering.. when did it get easier for you? He is 5 months now and as we creep closer to 6 months I do worry whether he I'll ever do more than 2 hours at a time..

Afraid to say not until after he was one, and then we're on 3-4 hour stretches and only 2 night feeds if it's a really good night.

Eeek. I just have a feeling we may be on for the same! The sleep deprivation is all consuming isn't it. I feel like maternity leave is flying by and I'm hardly enjoying it as everything revolves around sleep and lack of!

Co sleeping helped me a lot- husband spent more time in spare bed than our room from 6- 10 or 11 mo. I still co sleep especially in the early 'morning' but in single with DS.

And you just get better at surviving!

I co sleep too but I don't find it particularly comfy. I think my Ds feeds out of habit so I'm going to try to work on the breast feeding association.

We’ve improved a little since turning 7 months- 6 months was rough, I wasn’t expecting that!

On a good night I’ll get a couple of 3 hr stretches and maybe once a week a couple of longer ones if I’m lucky?

DD (7.5 month) has been feeding 3 times overnight but is having 3 meals a day plus milk feeds so I am trying to cut down to 2 feeds overnight- around 11.30 and 3.30. I think she’s been waking out of habit so I’ve been cuddling her to settle at the 1.20 wake. It’s early days so we’ll see how we go.
