8 month old suddenly fighting sleep HELP!!!

My DD has always been quite good with her sleep, sleeping from 7 weeks onwards all night for 12 hours
There were obviously days where she's been teething so would be a bit off
But in the past two weeks it's been a nightmare!! She just won't sleep! Before you could rock her a bit or give her 'sleepy milk' I.e bedtime milk n she'd be asleep til the next 11/12 hours with no bother
Now it's just a struggle , she just doesn't seem tired?!? It's like she just wants to explore or play, then moans so pick her up and try cuddling or rocking but still getting distracted
She may be teething but can't be every night? As she's not crying in pain, more moaning like she's. Ores and distracted. Just feels she's totally changed

Does anyone have any tips how to get babies to sleep? I've tried rocking, white noise, milk even a dummy when I got really desperate but still no avail!!!
Is this a common occurrence around this age? If so, how long does it last for? Confused

This may explain a few things.

Sounds like a sleep regression to me, they are pretty hellish when you’re in the midst of them as there seems to be no concrete reason why they suddenly hate sleeping, but they do pass in a couple of weeks. At least you’ve had a few months of unbroken sleep stored up to help you cope though!

Sleep regression, just have to see it through.
You've had it very very lucky up until now
