Advice on Crib Bedding

I have the Tutti Bambini Cozee crib. I'm a FTM and a bit clueless. I have the fitted sheets already and intend to get a mattress protector, but what would you recommend for bedding also? The baby is due October so is also a winter baby. Any advice would be greatly received. Thanks. x

Blankets- e.g. cotton cellular type. Large muslin to swaddle, if they like it.

Sleeping bags can be great once baby is over the minimum weight

I wouldn't buy any bedding. Just get a gro-snug for when your baby's newborn and then Grobags for when they are big enough for them. Other bedding is mainly just a cotdeath risk.

I second gro bags. My 3 month old always found it difficult (read impossible) to settle in a crib until she started wearing her gro bags. They mean she stays warm and there’s no change of surface when getting in crib. Plus I don’t stay awake worrying about blankets In her head. Worth investing in actual gro bags as they are longer and fit longer than alternatives ime.
