Anyone's LO still in their room last 6 months?

Due to having work done on our house our DS is still in our room, he is 14 months.
Our bedroom is a big master bedroom so he is in his own cotbed over across the room from us but can see us.
He has stayed in a separate room on holiday no problem and for a couple of weeks before the work started in our house.
Im hoping I'm not creating any habits by still having him in with us but it's our only option at the moment.
Anyone still have their LO's in with them longer than 6 months? Or anyone moved them into their own room later and how did it go? :)

Dc1 was in our bed until 2.5, now he starts the night in his room then moves in with dh during the night. Dc2 is in my bed at 9 months. You're not creating bad habits, it's normal and natural for children to share rooms/beds with their parents.

Mine was until 18 months, no problems at all.

Mine was in our bed until just over 18 months when she asked to go into her own bed. Then there was about a year of her getting in with us in the middle of the night. At almost 4 she now loves her bed and spends all night in it. No bad habits at all.

Our 10 month old is still in with us, in a side sleeping cot as he is still breastfed to sleep and wakes 2-4 times per night. He usually ends up sleeping in our bed anyway rather than in his own little section, but at least I know he won't inadvertently roll out the side. We don't have another room for him at the moment, so it'll be like that until we can buy our own place and move house. It's not ideal, and I'm sure the fact he's still sleeping in with us is contributing to his frequent wakings, but there's not much we can do at the moment. We're hoping to move in the next 6 months, so fiingers crossed it'll not be forever.

My ds has just turned 2 and is still in the bed with us. I'm nearly 5 months pregnant so thinking about transitioning him into his own room.
