Why has nap time moved back 3 hours?

DS - 20 months. Usually naps 4 hours after waking, for the last 2 weeks has napped 7 hours after waking. Is this normal and can I do anything to help him feel tired earlier? (He's genuinely not tired earlier)

Is he still sleeping on a night time? If so I’d just leave him to it.

He is but not til 10pm!

Could it be the heatwave?

Assuming he wakes up at 6am, he's napping at 1pm which sounds normal imo.

Could you try reducing his nap? So if he usually has 2 hours, shorten it to 1 hour, so he is tired at bed time. What time is his nap and usual bed time?
I agree the heat could be playing a part.

Thanks I might try that, he just gets really upset if I wake him early from naps but it's 10.38 and he's only just fallen asleep so I guess I'll have to!
