Why won’t my baby co sleep?!

Trying co sleeping with my 16 week old tonight as she wakes every hour after 11 and is so hard to settle tonight

I keep hearing this is a lifesaver but it doesn’t seem to be for us! She just keeps cooing and kicking and rolling onto her side and back. If I didn’t know better I’d say she just pinched me on purpose 🙈

I’d rocked her to sleep first (so I thought)

Is it just the novelty of being in Mummy’s bed?

My littlest twin wouldn't co sleep either - has to be held. (big twin is happy in his cot so not an issue)

My first never wanted to co sleep. Very annoying as that was given as the solution to every issue when I'd go to baby groups. Not all children like being cuddled to sleep.

We had success in the end with feeding to sleep and then not moving. I think she slept two hours straight too which is impressive so maybe there is something to it after all

Woke up wanting to play at 5.45 though and trying to stay warm without a duvet was a faff!

Not sure if it’s the right thing adding feeding to sleep and bed sharing to our sleep props but then again whatever gets us some sleep!

My 7mo didn't want to co sleep at first but now he's laying next to me and doesn't sleep as well with me holding him. I'll still feed him to sleep some nights but he's learning to sleep by himself as well.

My next task is getting him into the cot but with 3 teeth cutting through atm I don't think it's going to happen...
