Hi all Smile my DS is 6 weeks old & my second child. In the day he will only sleep for 10-20mins at a time until late avo and then has a 3 hour nap normally, does anyone else find this? I keep thinking surely he needs more sleep but if he was tired wouldn't he just fall asleep or he upset? We still haven't found one set way to get him to sleep either! Been trying the dummy but sometimes he isn't bothered so don't know whether to pursue it as don't want to be putting it in for him all the time when it comes out. Also tried white noise, lullabies, rocking, even the car doesn't always send him off! He is still feeding every 2-2.5 hours in the morning but then extends time throughout the day and does 6 hours as night then a 3-4. Going to give up on trying to get him to bed just after my DD who is 3.5 as he doesn't seem ready to settle and it was nearly 2 hours of trying last night and eventually he just went off on his own with nothing, but it was too long for him to be there I felt. Any advice would be great! xx
