I've ordered my 20 month old son a toddler bed, he currently always sleeps in a travel cot. I have no issue putting him into his new toddler bed, but I'm just really undecided on weather to buy some sides for the bed..
as it is low anyway and I know in the morning he will get out and come into my room...
Can I have some others opinions on what you've done or what you suggest? Smile

Perhaps some bed guards that only cover the top half? It'll stop him rolling out but he can easily get out the bottom if awake.

Hey OP, my daughter moved to her single bed at 20 months, she has a wall on one side and a bed guard on the other, can get out of a gap at the bottom only does so in a morning.
It's more to stop rolling out
