Always had a good sleeping baby. Started sleeping 10-6 from 4 weeks old had a few hiccups along the way with illness/teething etc but in general he is asleep by 7pm and wakes about 6 30am (cos he is at nursery for 7.30).
I know he is going through separation anxiety as he cries when i leave his sight although that is improving at the moment. But wondered if this is a usual sleep regression? So for the last few days, as if he has an alarm clock!, he has woken wide awake wanting to play at 5.30am. Im pregnant and finding the early rise absolutely exhausting even though its only an hour earlier! Any advice?
Today I put toys in his cot and snoozed obviously unable to sleep but at least resting. He lasted about another 15 minutes. TIA

I've got a 6 month old and this has happened to me for the last 3 weeks (I have a thread on it!).

I think mine is semi rubbish nap related, but I have so many friends with babies at different stages who are experiencing the same, so I can only imagine it's the heat that is doing it.
