Side sleeping

Does anyone let their babies sleep on their sides? The last couple of days my daughter has been waking from naps really grumpy because she's still tired, so I've tried her on her side and she's sleeping really well. Not sure I should carry on?

I do in the daytime and evenings with a camera on. It’s the only time he rests properly at the moment because it stops his hands and feet from jolting and waking him up. They do say there is a greater risk of SIDS. Both me and my brother slept on our sides and bellys when babies, as did most of us. Just like co-sleeping/ it’s your call.
