Tips on 7 month old having naps without rocking

Hi everyone my Lo is 7 months old and the last few weeks when she’s due for any of her day time naps needs rocking to sleep. If I place her on her cot she gets upset tries to fall asleep but wakes her self up and will not settle.

Does anyone have any advice?

Thanks

no tips but I hope someone comes along with some advice for you because I carried on rocking mine to sleep and now she's 3 and I still do it for daytime naps Blush

You'll probably get different opinions here, but I'd say not to worry about it too much. My LO needed lots of help getting to sleep up until a couple of months ago (and I had brilliant advice on this site), including rocking, and I was worried about it becoming a pattern. He's now 16 months and learnt all on his own how to settle himself to sleep - in fact he very rarely falls asleep in my arms and it's quite sad! He did it first for evening naps, then for day time.
