Early waking on holiday

Dd21 months usually sleeps from 8pm to 6-7am.

Since we've came on holiday shes woken at 5am. The room is dark and there's no noise. Even the day we came on holiday (so left our house) she woke at 4:45am.

What can I try to encourage her to sleep later.

I tried moving her nap later. Usually she naps at 11am for 2 hours. So yesterday we let her nap at 1pm and she went to bed at 9.30pm yet still woke at 5am.

Anything else we can try?

Is there a time difference?

Hopskipjumping · 27/06/2018 07:01

No sorry meant to say, there's no time difference

You need to persist with the later nap- one day is nothing, give it at least 3. You mention how old she is, if older than 2 then try cutting it down to 45 mins as well

Thanks, its good to know we're on the right track then. Sometimes she's ready to nap at 10am but will try to stretch it as long as possible.

She loves her nap and can nap for 3 hours. Shes 21 months so when should be the cut off time for naps?
