DD 6 months is struggling to nap and I'm struggling to help her. DS (2) just used to lie down and sleep for an hour in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon. Still does the latter.
With DD I just can't get her the time and space to do it because of DS understandably wanting to be near us and too noisy/tactile.
Just now, again, she managed 20 minutes before he came over to cuddle her and she woke up.
My question now is do I give up for now and try for another short one in an hour or so before trying for the long one on schedule later? Do I carry on trying to get her to go out again now (it's been 25 minutes and she's wide awake)? Give up in any kind of schedule and just let her have 5-6 short naps again today?
She's getting so overtired and I just can't figure out how to manage it.
DH is here today but is doing some really necessary housework. Yesterday we did finally manage to get her a 2 hour stint walking in the buggy.
