Hi my names Gabrielle, my little boy is 21 months his names Lennox. My son is an absolute dream of a child. He is my first baby and I knew from the start he might not sleep ALL night untill hes older, and even then there will be issues haha. However, from the time I moved my son from a crib to a cot he has always been very irritable. He will and still now only go down if I take him to my bed. For him to fall asleep takes 5 minutes and then i put him in his bedroom. He was in his cot from 7 months old, however it was only at 13/14 month old he started to sleep ALL night without even making a sound or waking for any water/milk. 4 weeks ago he had chicken pox which set us back as obviously he needed to be near me. Since then we are back to square 1, I cwtch him in my bed, put him in his and then guarantee around 12 pm midnight he wakes screaming crying. I recently done his bedroom out so he no longer is in a cot he has a single 'fire engine' bed and all his toys, which hes not that bothered about as I think hes probably still to young to appreciate it. However I think he was used to being close to me again when he was ill. In bed with me he has gone back to being irritable and crying in his sleep most of the night. I hate seeing him upset and cant leave him cry and I think at his age now he knows I will always come to comfort him. Any advice would be greatful. I love nothing more than my son wanting to cwtch into me but as a working mother if I could get him back into his routine that be great!
