My DD is just 10 weeks old but recently been having a problem with her naps - morning, lunchtime and afternoon. She has no trouble getting off to sleep but often wakes up crying about 20-40mins later and we have problems re-settling her unless we take her out in the buggy for a walk. Obviously rushing out the house at a moment's notice isn't ideal and don't want to become reliant on leaving the house in order to get her off to sleep. I read there's something called a sleep transition which can wake babies when they have trouble moving from the lighter to deep sleep cycle but am not sure if that's what it is or something else. We try to keep her room relatively quiet and dim during the nap time.
Any advice would be gratefully appreciated.
