Rocking to sleep

I’ve found that my restless baby is resisting falling asleep at bedtime by being rocked now- crying and only eventually falling alsleep about 10:30. He cries or wriggles after feeding rather than falling asleep...
what can I do?! How do I get him to sleep in a diffferent way?
I’ve got skinny and am drained with no rest in the evening as I have to sleep when he finally goes.

How old is baby? Could it be a sleep regression? You say baby is wriggling is it wind? Possibly hungry?
