Trouble napping in a forward facing pram.help!

Hi all, we have been using a borrowed baby zen yoyo for my daughter. We LOVED the newborn set, she slept well in it, light, nippy …just perfect for us really..

But since we switched to the 6+version she just WONT nap in it.

Obviously it’s forward facing, so lots of distractions for her, but even with a snooze shade up when she’s shattered it’s almost impossible to get her to nap and she just tugs it off and plays with the neon tabs!. I think she’s only done it twice after months of use…its got to the stage where I feel totally house bound for her naps which isn’t good for either of us.

Has anyone had experience of this? Any suggestions for helping a curious baby sleep in a forward facing pram…..or maybe it’s the yoyo itself (it doesn’t recline fully)

Any suggestions very welcome, shes 8 1/2 months

I found my DD (11 months) takes longer to settle for a nap in the forward facing pushchair when we use it on travels. So personally, I find a quiet corner somewhere away from distractions if we're out and about and rock the pushchair until she falls asleep. Side to side gentle works for us. She's always fallen asleep with the rocking / bouncing motion though since newborn.
